Im researching the field of artificial intelligence. I'm learning about how this technology is being applied and its purposes. I aim to learn more about how this technology will take over the burden of everyday life, and to see how this technology is already being used and applied in the real world.
How it Works:
The basics of AI is programming that lets the system learn or learn from actions it makes, or data it's given. The learning aspect of it is its rapidly taking in data and making changes necessary to the desired goal of what it's trying to do. Just like when we are trying to learn how to play a sport we adjust what we do so we can be better, it's the same process for the programming. Eventually after taking in and making all the changes according to the data, the program will have learned what to do and the best way to do it.
How its Being Studied Now:
Many large companies like IBM, Google, Facebook, Apple and Microsoft are studying AI and implementing it on there companys. These are well funded and big companies that all have very important studies and advances in the world of AI. Although companies like Google, Microsoft, and Apple are either keeping their research to themselves or are just looking to improve their app interfaces. Facebook is really pushing in the long-term studies and research that will be used for all purposes of AI.
What I'm Hoping to Learn more About:
Im want to learn more about the effects AI will have in the future. I want to know how it will effect me when i'm older or how it will affect future generations with new technology. Things like if there will be companies with no workers in the warehouse just robots. Also i'm thinking about how much better or faster machine could work compared to man, and if robots will get so advanced to make decisions by themselves on the fly for the best plan of action.
